Our Lady Queen Of Martyrs Parish Festival Starts Tonight

Fifty-seventh annual event runs through Aug. 4

Everyone's invited to Our Lady Queen of Martyrs' 57th annual Parish Festival at 6 p.m. tonight, though the carnival rides and food vendors arrayed along 1409 Park Avenue are already attracting interested visitors.

At the ticket booth, church volunteers Lionel Fraeppier and Pat Lamothe were selling raffle tickets and giving the scoop to interested passers-by.

Admission to the event is free, and festival goers can pay for food or a ride as they like. You can also purchase a one-price $20 bracelet that will let you on the rides all night Wednesday and are available for purchase again on Saturday.
