Wednesday Five: Quake, Debate, Rhodes, Main Street

Good morning, Woonsocket - Here are some things to know today:

Quake - The 4.5 quake in Lake Arrowhead, ME at 7:12 p.m. last night was felt across RI, including in several homes in Woonsocket. Check out our breaking post on the quake, comment to tell us if you felt it, and look out for our story on quakes in New England that puts this one in perspective in a little while.

Debate - If you were able to tear yourself away from twitter and facebook long enough to catch the debate after the Maine earthquake, you probably have an opinion on who won - Obama or Romney. Look out for this morning's article on the debate and comment on it to let us know what you think.

Road closed - Today, Rhodes Avenue will be closed from Second Avenue to Mendon Road (North Smithfield) will be closed for necessary sewer main repair work in the area of Seventh Avenue. There will be no thru traffic or trucking from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. City workers will be fixing a sewer line on Rhodes, so maybe it's just as well you won't be able to drive through there.
