Thursday: Budget Commission, Ladies' Night, Calendar, Claims

Welcome to Thursday - here are some things to know:

 

Ladies' night - Come down to the Primitive Millhouse, 68 S. Main St., at 6:30 p.m. for Ladies' Night to enjoy shopping with local vendors, then enjoy a great meal at the , or restaurants. Men are also welcome.

Budget Commission - The team sorting out the city's finances meets again this afternoon at 3 p.m. in City Hall. On their agenda this week: a public hearing on the payment in lieu of taxes agreement (PILOT) with Synagro, originally scheduled for Monday. There is also a chance that final changes to the Woonsocket School Department budget will be ready for the Commission's review.
