Debroisse released detour routes for cars and trucks during the repair:

Car detour route:

1) Heading south on Providence St — Right on Coe Street, turn left on Ballou Street, turn right back to Providence Street

2) Heading north on Providence Street — Left on Ballou Street, turn right on Coe Street, turn left back on Providence Street

Truck detour route:

1) To head south, take South Main Street (southerly) to Great Road and turn left.

2) To head north, into the city, take Great Road (westerly) and turn right on South Main Street.

Residents along these detour routes are asked to keep their vehicles in their driveways.

"If you normally travel Providence Street you are asked to seek an alternate route. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding," Debroisse wrote.
