Monday, Monday: Council, Costumes, Volunteer and Calendar
Happy Monday, Woonsocket - Check out these things to know:
Council - Tonight the Woonsocket City Council meets up at City Hall. There's a light agenda, concerned primarily with authorizing Mayor Leo Fontaine to enter into an agreement with the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Cooridor to install on-road indicators for a bike patch through the city. They'll also discuss designating and marking a shared bike route connecting Blackstone River Bikeway at Davidson Avenue to the border of Woonsocket passing through Main Street. They'll also consider a number of license renewals for local businesses.
Costumes - Halloween is not that far away, and neither, likely is a party or two where you'll be needing a costume. Start thinking now if you haven't given this year's getup any thought. Check out these ideas on pinterest to get yourself started.
