Woonsocket Police Capt. Edward Lee a Finalist for Uxbridge Chief

Woonsocket Police Capt. Edward Lee is one of four finalists for the Uxbridge, MA, Police Chief after the retirement of Chief Scott Freitas in August. 

The Woonsocket Call reports Lee will meet with Uxbridge residents tonight, 6:45 – 8 p.m. at Uxbridge Town Hall with three other candidates: Smithfield Police Capt. Robert Eaton, Auburn, MA, Det. Lt. Jeffrey Lourie; and interim Uxbridge Police Chief Lt. Peter B. Emerick.

Lee oversees the Woonsocket Police detective division. He is also a co-author of "Ripper" a true-crime account of the interview and confession of serial killer Jeffrey Mailhot, whom Lee helped interrogate.
