A Woonsocket man was indicted in a knifepoint robbery case.

Robert Attwood, 31, was charged with robbing a person and assaulting two others in North Smithfield in December, according to WPRI.com. Attwood allegedly attacked one person with a knife.

An indictment means a grand jury has determined a trial is warranted based on evidence in the case.
