Report of Woonsocket Child Abduction a Hoax
Authorities said a girl made up a story about on abduction on Vose Street Tuesday.
A child who told police that a group of masked men abducted a girl on Vose Street Tuesday made the story up, according to multiple reports.
WJAR reported the girl told her father that she saw four masked men throw a 5-year-old girl in a minivan. The father relayed the information to police.
Police spoke to the girl and determined she made the story up.
WPRO reported police will decide whether or not to press charges in the case.
