Court Upholds Prison Sentence for Woonsocket Crack Dealer

Robert O. Robinson was convicted of running the operation out of the city's Talus Bar.

The ringleader of a Woonsocket crack cocaine dealing operation lost his appeal of his 22-year prison sentence.

Robert O. Robinson, 32, was convicted in 2012 of running the operation out of the city's Talus Bar. Four of his associates were also sentenced to significant prison terms.

Authorities arrested the gang after a months-long investigation involving a confidential informant.

NBC 10 reported a judge this week upheld Robinson's conviction.

Robinson has a long rap sheet; when he was 19, he was charged with helping to run another drug ring.
