Andria Britt Granted House Arrest After Amber Alert
She allegedly kidnapped her son in January.
Andria Britt, the Woonsocket woman who triggered an Amber Alert after allegedly kidnapping her son in January, has been granted house arrest as she awaits trial.
The Associated Press reported she will remain held on $50,000 bail as the details of her house arrest are finalized.
Police said Britt violated a custody agreement by taking her son, Daniel, to Washington. Her family reportedly convinced her to turn herself in. The child was not harmed.
She faces a charge of child snatching, which carries a two-year sentence.
