Laser Scanner Problem

This subject is about a price scanner located in your CVS store on Smithfield Ave. in Fairlawn section of Pawtucket.   A Price scanner is normally mounted on a pole or wall; but this one is lying on a counter facing an isle. Customers walking that isle are subject to the laser beam shinning in their eyes, which is a health hazard.  I have talk to employees many times about the problem with no corrective action. If you can explain to me that this is not a problem, OK.  But, if not,  then my next email will be to the State of Rhode Island Health Dept.
