Lets go my fellow Woonsocket Rockets. As you know housing taxes are to high and buisnesses are leaving the city at an alarming rate! It is time to get some fresh young blood into the city council and mayor's seat. It is actually easier then you think all you need is 100 registered voters signitures to throw your hat into the ring. Go to ClerkBase.com to get the city charter and you can get all the details to run for office. I am strongly thinking about doing it myself. We should be ashamed that we are known as a welfare city, as seen in the Washington Post editorial a few months ago. I can't believe that our elected officials can even show their faces in public knowing that that story was published. It is time to rise up and take back the pride that this city once had. Lets make a statement by getting some young minds that think out of the box into office and get rid of these one way politicans that can't see past their own noses. This is a call to arms! Lets make this city great again, rather then fall by the waist side!!!
