Ronald N. Beauregard: Decorated Vietnam Marine Corps Vet, Mechanic

Ronald N. Beauregard, 64, of Woonsocket died Tuesday at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island in Providence, according to Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home. 

He was the loving husband of Lynne P. Dias. They were marred on March 26, 2007. Ron was also the former husband of Paulette (L’Etoile) Beauregard of Woonsocket.

Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Victor and Grace (Houle) Beauregard.

Mr. Beauregard served in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal and received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Star and the Meritorious Unit Citation.

Mr. Beauregard was employed at CVS and later worked for Tedor Pharma, Inc. as a maintenance mechanic before retiring.

Through the years Ron resided at various times in Hawaii, Florida and California. He was an avid sport fisherman (especially surf casting) and was an auto racing enthusiast always following NASCAR. Ron was also an adept poker player.

Relatives and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Ron’s life at visiting hours Friday from 5-8 p.m. in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
