John R. Robinson, Sr., 85, of Chestnut St., died Sept. 16 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket, according to Holt Funeral Home.
He was the husband of the late Helen (McMann) Robinson and companion of the late Lenora “Lolly” Pierannunzi for thirty-nine years.
Born in Blackstone, MA, he was the son of the late Roland and Anna (Bradley) Robinson. A WWII Army Veteran, Robinson worked as a truck driver for Rosenfeld Concrete, Milford, MA for twenty-eight years. He was a member of the Woonsocket Elks and was an antique car enthusiast. Private funeral arrangements were held under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blackstone Firefighters Association, 15 St. Paul St., Blackstone, MA 01504.
