PHOTOS: New England's First Ever Monster Jam Roars Through Gillette Stadium
Gillette Stadium had a different look this past weekend as Monster Jam Path of Destruction roared through the home of the New England Patriots on Saturday, June 21.
It was New England's first ever Monster Jam event.
The event featured an all-star lineup of trucks and drivers, including:
Grave Digger, driven by Dennis Anderson; Max-D, driven by Tom Meents; Grave Digger The Legend, driven by Adam Anderson; Son-uva Digger, driven by Ryan Anderson; Monster Energy, driven by Damon Bradshaw; Mohawk Warrior, driven by George Balhan; Northern Nightmare, driven by Cam McQueen; Lucas Oil Crusader, driven by Linsey Weenk; Team Hot Wheels Firestorm, driven by Scott Buetow; El Toro Loco, driven by Marc McDonald; Monster Mutt Dalmation, driven by Candice Jolly; Madus, driven by Debrah Miceli; Zombie, driven by Sean Duhon; Metal Mulisha, driven by Morgan Kane and more.
The event required 7,500 tons of dirt dumped inside Gillette Stadium, 100,000 square feet of plastic, 6,000 sheets of plywood to cover the stadium's surface, 30 dump trucks, 20 pieces of heavy machinery, 1,200 square feet of banners, 30 gallons of paint needed to paint obstacles and track, 25 crush cars, 4 crush vans, 18 hours to paint logos and designs on track and obstacles and 6 dumpsters used as safety barriers.
