Finally Friday: Haunted River, Craft Fair, Spookfest, Things

The weekend is nigh. Maybe you should check out some things to know.

 

Haunted Blackstone Haunted river tours aboard the Explorer will take place tonight at Central Falls Landing, 45 Madeira Ave., Central Falls starting at 6:30 p.m. 

A trip along the Blackstone River turns into a creepy experience you’ll never forget. Hear the stories of Edgar Allen Poe and H. P. Lovecraft. Tickets are $10 per person + $2 service fee.

The remaining dates are Oct. 19, 20, 26, 27. Tours run each night at:  6:30, 7:15, 8 and 8:45 pm.

Craft Fair - Visit the Fall At The Mill Vendor Market and Craft Fair on Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., 68 South Main St. The mill is located at Market Square in the Old Yarn Mill Building which is between River Falls Restaurant and The Musuem of Art & Culture. There will be area artist and crafters displaying and selling the art and craft work.  Also we will have local vendors selling their merchandise as well.   Great time to get the holiday shopping started.  Their will be live guitar performances, other entertainment, Raffles, Split the Pot, and Food.

Spookfest - Spookfest returns to Woonsocket Saturday, 4 p.m. at Bernon Heights School. Join us for a fun-filled night for children in grades K-5 featuring. Games, Arts and Crafts, Food, a Halloween Costume Parade (at 5:30 p.m.) and a Spooky Trail – if you dare!
