Community Update

Over the past several months we receive repeated calls from CVS Caremark for faxes containing medical information. The calls come at any time of the day or night and are repeated time after time. We have received as many as 18 calls in a roll. Many of the faxes come through and contain personal and health information of various patients. If I am not mistaken this is against HIPPA regulation. Despite our repeated effort to contact CVS Caremark we continue to receive repeated faxes. When we have contacted someone from CVS Caremark we have been given various excuses for why they can not resolve the issue. We have even been told they can do nothing to stop the calls. I hope someone at the cooperate office sees this e-mail and can offer some assistance. A letter is being sent to Larry Merlo, President and CEO. Mr. Merlo I do hope you can assist to putting a stop to the calls and medical information being transmitted to our fax machine. Sincerely
