Africa heat - "It's like Africa hot. Tarzan couldn't take this kind of hot," —Eugene, Biloxi Blues. The state-wide heat wave continues today, with an estimated heat index around 102 degrees - that's what it feels like with humidity factored in. Add another 15 degrees if you're directly in the sun. Not to worry - the city has the senior center and the library set up as cooling centers. Check on your neighbors regularly, though, just in case.
