Arc de Triomphe - Traffic along the stretch of N. Main Street going through Monument Square is blocked again this morning as construction on the 1/3 scale replica of the Parisian artifact. The work will continue Saturday, when the framing is expected to be finished. During construction, the road will be open during the evenings. The arc gets its mural - laden fabric walls the week of Aug. 29, in time for the Block Party.
Just Play - This is the last day for the City Recreation Department's "Just Play" program (supervised play in the parks with parents and kids, with balls and jump rope) at Dunn Park.

Be a Page - The Woonsocket Harris Public Library currently has three Library Page positions open for local teens. This is a part-time position. Duties include sorting and shelving library materials. Must be at least 14. Three positions are available. Hours include after school, evenings and weekends.
