Financial Opportunity Center Open House on April 8th

Family Resources Community Action with partner NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley will host an Open House for the Woonsocket Financial Opportunity Center (FOC) on Tuesday, April 8th from 10 am – 2:00 pm. The event, which is taking place during “Money Smart Week,” will be held in the new space of the Center at 55 Main Street, Woonsocket. RI General Treasurer Gina Raimondo will be a guest speaker at the event, which is open to the public.

 

Guests can tour the FOC and attend two Money Tips Sessions on “Boost Mobile Banking” at 11:10 am; and “Mind Map” Financial Goal-Setting at 12:45pm. A list of Open House activities is listed on FRCA’s website at www.famresri.org. For more information, contact Robyn Federici at 235-6088. The FOC is a one-stop shop for financial education/coaching, employment & career improvement, and income support services to help individuals and families become more financially stable. Funding for this program is provided by Local Initiatives Support Corporation and the United Way of Rhode Island.
