ACA Health Insurance Registration Available in Woonsocket

Family Resources Community Action (FRCA) has Health Insurance Navigators available to assist individuals with registering for healthcare under the Affordable Care Act “Obamacare.” Appointments can be scheduled at the office location at 245 Main Street, Woonsocket or at a home visit if enrollee has mobility, transportation or other challenges. For an appointment at FRCA, please call Maritza Lerebours at 401-766-0900 x127 or Madeline Silva at 401-766-0900 x120. Individuals should bring the following to the appointment: a photo ID; birth certificate and Social Security card for all household members; pregnancy status; phone # and email address; tax return; proof of current income or no income (i.e. FIP statement, SSI, current paycheck, SNAP); proof of updated lease or recent rent receipt and utilities bills; healthcare access/insurance information; and eligible immigration status documents (including country of issuance, date, alien #, passport #, visa #). Appointments are also being taken locally at Thundermist Health Center - 401-767-4100.  Individuals can also access the Health Insurance Exchange in RI (HealthSourceRI.com) to enroll. The enrollment deadline is 3/31/14.
