Robinson told Brooks she was going to the Credit Union to get her children lunch. Brooks noted there were four juveniles in the back seat of the Expedition, also not wearing seat belts. When asked for her license, Robinson told Brooks she'd forgotten it, and a check using her ID card showed her liscense was suspended.

Brooks noted in his report that Robinson smelled strongly of alcohol, but when he asked Robinson whether she'd been drinking, she said no. When he asked again, noting he could smell alcohol on her, she admitted to having a glass of wine, according to Brooks' report.

Brooks performed a series of sobriety tests, and Robinson failed the vision test, failed to peform the walk and turn properly and also failed the one-leg stand. A breath test registered a .213 blood alcohol level. Brooks arrested Robinson, charging her with driving under the influence and driving after the denial of her license.

At the station, Robinson was difficult and insulting, interrupting Brooks while he read her rights, according to his report. She also refused to be patted down, When she was asked to shake out her bra without exposing herself, she instead lifted up her shirt and bra and said, "this is what you want to see," according to the report.

Robinson's children were released to a friend of the family sent by their father. The Expedition was removed by Rick's Towing.

Robinson was charged with driving under the influence, blood alcohol unknown, and driving after the suspension of her licesne. The DCYF was notified of the incident.
