Police Log: Minor Caught with Stolen Vehicle

The following arrest information was supplied by the Woonsocket Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

"I'm not going down for this alone"

A 17-year-old city girl was arrested on Wednesday and charged with felony possession of a stolen vehicle and driving without a license.

Around 8:30 p.m. Bellingham Police asked area officers to be on the lookout for a gray Toyota that was stolen from a convenience store while the owner was inside shopping. When police found the car on Second Avenue, the minor reportedly got out and threw the keys on the ground saying "I'm not going down for this alone." She gave police the name of another female who she said had stolen the vehicle. The Toyota was returned to the owner and the minor was released to the custody of her mother.
