Police Log: City Man Arrested for Second Degree Sexual Assault

The following arrest information was supplied by the Woonsocket Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

City man admits to sexual assault-

Warren Ford Charron, 32, of 31 Chester St. was arrested at home on Wednesday for 2nd Degree Sexual Assault. DCYF investigator Peter Gesualdi worked with officers to investigate a complaint by a 17-year-old female who stated that Charron had touched her inappropriately. According to police reports, Charron admitted to touching the minor during an interview with officers.

John Keith Gautier, 50, of 168 South Main St. was arrested on Tuesday for domestic assault, domestic refusal to relinquish a telephone, and larceny under $500. The 56-year-old female victim told police that after a Christmas party, Gautier asked her for $40 to buy crack cocaine. The victim said that when she refused to give Gautier the money, he pushed and shoved her. Later in the evening, Gautier again asked for $40 and the woman again refused. After the second refusal, the woman reported that Gautier hit her several times with a closed fist, attacking her until the woman's daughter broke up the altercation. The suspect then reportedly left the home.

Gautier was picked up by Lincoln Police and transported to Woonsocket. He was also found to have a Parole Board Warrant.

Other police activity-

Frederick Powell, 30, of 555 Willow St. was arrested at 12:50 a.m. in the area on 113 Main St. on Tuesday for a warrant.

Joseph Alicea, 27, of 84 Rebeckah St. was arrested at home at 2:21 a.m. on Tuesday for domestic assault.

Leon Robinson, 22, of 34 Yolande St. was arrested at home at 4:28 a.m. on Tuesday for two warrants and obstructing an officer.

Katelyn Roskott, 20, of 25 Loring St. was arrested in the area of 53 Fulton St. at 9:37 p.m. on Tuesday for a warrant.

Ernest Alicea, 23, of 230 Dulude Ave. was arrested in the area of 261 Wood Ave. at 3:08 p.m. on Wednesday for domestic assault and three warrants.
