Officers didn't find the man standing outside 46 Bourdon Boulevard with an AK-47 a 911 caller said was there May 28 — they had a hard time finding the caller, in fact.
One officer was dispatched to the basketball courts at Dunn Park at about 4:47 p.m. because the caller was supposed to be waiting for them there. While enroute, the officer was re-directed to Fifth Avenue, where the caller had met with another officer.
Once officers were able to locate the caller, he was identified as Michael Keenan, 28, of 46 Bourdon Boulevard, who appeared unsteady on his feet and slurred his speech. Keenan said a man had threatened to kill him. Officers asked him when this occurred, and Keenan said the threat had happened four months ago. When asked if he had seen the person who threatened him that day, Keenan said he had not.
While Keenan was speaking with one officer, a second saw him drop a baggie on the ground. The baggie turned out to have nine pills in it, two of which were identified as clonazepam, a schedule three drug.
Keenan was arrested and charged with providing a false 911 report and posession of schedule three drugs.
