Yesterday we had a cocker spaniel mix looking for a home. Unfortunately most dogs in shelters in Connecticut are pit bulls. Other breeds usually get adopted quickly. We post any and all dogs in need regardless of breed.

Frank, I totally understand your passion on the subject -- I have owned many pit bulls over the years and have never had any kind of agression problem. They have been wonderful family dogs. I welcome your rebuttal to any comments posted here, I only ask that you refrain from using vulgar language. Without the vulgar language, any comment you want to make is more than welcome on the site.
