ReplyNot sure as to what kind of toys are especially needed or what age group to shop for. Just follow your heart! Once the donated toys are sorted through, the financial donations will be used to buy toys to fill in any gaps.

ReplyThe concert is this Sunday! This is a great opportunity to experience something that may be new to you. And it does not cost a lot. I listened to their final rehearsal at the Center this week and the quintet sounds incredible inside the St. Ann Arts and Cultural Center. No microphones! Just 5 clarinets playing music that fills the vast cavernous space of the Center. A performance that is not artificially amplified or filtered. Just pure, natural music. The Licorice Sticks, this Sunday at 4:00 PM!!

ReplyDear Meow Kitty, the show is the first of 4 levels that contestants must get through in order to win the national competition. Last year there were some locals as well as competitors from across Rhode Island and nearby southern Massachusetts. The list of competitors is still being compiled as the registration continues through tomorrow the 13th. Listen to 1240 WOON, the sponsoring radio station, as they may give additional details about the show as the date draws near or you can call them at 401-762-1240. Thank you for your interest!
