When Officer Joseph Brazil arrived on the scene for the call, he found Maxim's heavily damaged car resting on the front lawn of the South Main Street home. Standing by the drivers side door of the car was an off-duty detective who had heard the crash and responded, finding Pariset in the drivers seat with the engine still running, according to Brazil's report. Police Log: Driver Arrested For DUI Admits 'Mistake'

The following arrest information was provided by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

An aknowledgement of the recklessness of drinking and driving proved a bit too belated for one driver's own good March 5. The epiphany, which the driver, Francis Griffin, 30, shared with Woonsocket Police Lt. Edward Cunanan while in the process of failing a walk and turn sobriety test, might have served him better before he began driving home that evening. Cunanan spotted the blue 2000 Ford SUV driven by Griffin at 1:30 a.m. while traveling on Hamlet Avenue near Park Avenue. The SUV passed Cunanan's cruiser traveling in the opposite direction, swerving and nearly striking the curb as it passed, according to Cunanan's report. Cunanan turned his cruiser and followed the SUV, as it traveled up Cumberland Hill Road, jerking into the left lane…

Police Log: Man Uses Brother's Identity To Avoid Misdemeanor, Charged With Felony

The following information was provided by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Adam Tellier, 31, of Woonsocket faced a misdemeanor charge for driving with a suspended license during a Dec. 24 traffic stop, but used his brother Nathan's name, eventually adding obstruction and felony identity theft to his charges. Adam, whose license was suspended, provided Nathan's name, social security number, date of birth and license number when asked for ID. Unfortunately for Adam, Nathan's license was also suspended, and he was arrested under his sibling's identity.  Adam's subterfuge might've landed his brother in jail if Nathan hadn't been warned by a text from his brother's ex-girfriend that there were citations in his name in his brother's possession. Nathan visited the Woonsocket Police station at 242 Clinton St. Feb. 11 …

The following arrest information was supplied by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

A couple of minor vehicle violations led to an arrest for posession of crack cocaine for one passenger Feb. 24. At about 6:24 p.m., Woonsocket Police Officer Andrew Broccoli observed a gray 2000 Volvo turn left onto Cass Avenue from Mendon Road that had an illegal window tint preventing him from seeing inside the vehicle. Broccoli pulled the car over, running criminal checks on the driver, Edgardo Malave Roman, 18, and the passenger, Adam Hernendez, 21 of 527 Wood Ave., First Floor (the registered owner). Their records proved clean, but the registration was expired, requiring Broccoli to call for the vehicle to be towed from the scene. That required a check of the car, which Broccoli informed Roman and Hernandez of, asking them if there …
