Trooper Log: Traffic Stop Corrals Sex Offender Supervision Scofflaw

Wickford Barracks: Troopers arrest man for sex offender supervision violations At 11:14 a.m. Dec. 30, Troopers arrested Michael Dorego, 36, of 233 Second St., Woonsocket, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Violation of Community Supervision (for Sex Offense Against a Child – Fondling) originating out of the Rhode Island State Police Department of Corrections Detective Division. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South, in the City of Warwick, in which Dorego was the passenger. State Police report Dorego failed to notify his parole officer of his earlier arrest by Groton, CT police.
