Police Log: Woman Arrested After Trying To Sell Stolen Pistol, Watches
Man called police to Social Street after refusing to purchase stolen items.
Michelle Sondra Cole, 28, of 323 Main St., apt. 208, who was carrying a stolen .22 caliber Ruger Pistol, Burret and Invicta watches, was arrested Nov. 9 on Social Street near World War II Park after trying to sell the items. Cole, who was accompanied by Rene Cruz, 51 and a 15-year-old boy, attempted to sell the watches and pistol, which she was carrying in a backpack, to Eric Bielat, according to the police report. Bielat told officers Cole approached him in World War II Park, offered to sell him the watches and gun, and he refused, then called police when the trio left at about 1:55 p.m. He said Cole had offered to sell the gun for $50.
