RIHS Football Poll – Week 9
La Salle remains in the top spot, and they remain undefeated.
Back after a week’s absence – thanks Sandy! – not much has changed in the top six. Woonsocket moved up three spots in the poll, from No. 12 to No. 9, thanks to wins against unranked Chariho and Coventry squads. The Villa Novans start the Division II playoffs at St. Raphael's 6 p.m. Saturday. Woonsocket is the No. 3 seed from the A-Division, and St. Ray's is the No. 2 seed from the B-Division. The winner will play the winner of Johnston and Central after Thanksgiving. Although the order has switched around a bit, La Salle, Hendricken, Cranston East and Portsmouth remain the top four in the state.
