Adam, I don't drink....never have, most likely never will. So I can say with a VERY clear conscience that I have NEVER gotten behind a wheel after having drinks. You can try to justify your father's actions all you want, but know this. He was arrested. He gave a breathalizer. He was legally drunk. He was driving that way. He had open beer in his car. Done.   more ›

This article made news for both the Patch and the Call because pitbulls are a controversial topic, especially in the area. Woonsocket has tried to enact pitbull bans in the past which have not succeeded, and Pawtucket is well known for pressing the issue as well. A 1/2 inch break in the skin shows remarkable restraint on both of the pitbulls involved. According to the article the wound did not …   more ›

It's too bad that, since the charges are only misdemeanors, there probably won't be much of an intervention with this kid's crime career, because he already seems very "professional" for someone who's only 19. A series of backpacks to be picked up later? That's not casual theft, that's very well organized, and normally it would have limited the cash value in the charges to only what he had on him…   more ›
