Volunteers Sought For Race Against Racism at Autumnfest
Many opportunities to support the 5K run/walk on Oct. 7
Volunteers are needed to support the Race Against Racism on Sunday Oct. 7. This year's 5K run/walk will be held during Woonsocket's annual Autumnfest celebration. A variety of positions are available for volunteers the day of the race from 7 to 11 a.m. Volunteers are needed in the following areas: race set up, registration, water station, on-course guide, finish line, and clean up. A volunteer form is available on the Race Against Racism website at www.raceagainstracismri.org. Race Against Racism is intended to unite people of all races, demonstrate our community's commitment to eliminating racism, and celebrate our diversity.
