Phillips Appointed To House Small Business, Corporations Committees

Representative serving his second term in the RI House.

  Rep. Robert D. Phillips (D – Dist. 51, Woonsocket, Cumberland) has been appointed to the House Committee on Small Business as its secretary and will serve as a member of the House Committee on Corporations for the 2013-2014 legislative session, according to the Legislative Press and Public Information Bureau release. “I’m extremely pleased that I will be able to serve on two committees that deal with jobs and the economy,” Representative Phillips said. “I believe those two topics are among the General Assembly’s top priorities and I am ready to tackle them.” Speaker of the House Gordon D.
