Woonsocket Police Seek Man For Firing Handgun At Car On Pond Street Sunday
Gunshots caused Pond Street crash, chase from scene ended in second crash.
Woonsocket Police are asking the public's help in finding Anthony Lacoste, 21, with a last known address on Church Street, wanted on multiple felony charges after allegedly firing a handgun at a vehicle on Pond Street Sunday afternoon, causing it to crash into a telephone pole. At about 3:38 p.m., police responded to the area of Pond Street for a report of shots fired, according to a release from the Woonsocket Police Department. When officers arrived, they found a white 1999 Honda, driven by James Lambert Jr., had struck a telephone pole and had two bullet holes in it.
