BankRI Awards $2,000 Grant For Homeless Shelter Upkeep
Funds will help replace ceiling fans for bedrooms and living areas.
Bank Rhode Island (BankRI) has awarded a $2,000 grant to Family Resources Community Action. Family Resources Community Action serves low-income individuals and families in the city of Woonsocket and the greater Northern RhodeIsland region. The agency’s mission is to strengthen families and individuals through social services,education, and economic opportunity while respecting the dignity of the people they serve. Family Resources Community Action’s Woonsocket Shelter serves more than 10,000 people annually providingover 30 programs to the most vulnerable families in Rhode Island.
