The following is a list of notable arrests made by Woonsocket Police between the dates of Dec. 14 and Dec. 16 Friday, Dec. 14 At 12:40, Woonsocket Police arrested Armand Banks, 35, of 105 Mount St. Charles Ave., charging him with domestic assault, resisting arrest and obstructing an officer. At 1:55 a.m., police arrested Korey Scott, 26, of 26 Middle St., S. Attleboro, MA, charging him with domestic simple assault. At 2:21 a.m., police arrested Kyle J. Pasacane, 20, of 26 Brandy Lane, Uxbridge, MA, on a bench warrant out of Sixth District Court. At 11 p.m., police arrested Brendan M. Caron, 24, of 198 Dawn Blvd., charging him with domestic disorderly conduct and domestic vandalism. At 1:17 p.m., police arrested Cody Lebrun, 20, of 39 …

Police Log: Man Charged With Breaking Into Mount St. Charles Offers To Deliver Culprit

The following arrest information was provided by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

  On Dec. 15 at about 10:20 p.m. Woonsocket Police arrested Brian Moore, 56, of 65 Arnold St., charging him with breaking and entering a building with criminal intent in the case of a Dec. 14 break-in at Mount St. Charles. Police had their first encounter with Moore Dec. 14 at about 6 a.m. on St. Joseph Street, near Mount St. Charles when they found him sleeping in a 1997 Volkswagen Jetta, according to police reports, discovering an empty Budweiser beer can and a yellow crowbar with the store sticker still on it, a tool belt and a cooler filled with Budweiser cans, according to Officer Patrick Greeno's report.  The car had a suspended registration and it was towed away.  At about 8 a.m. the next morning, Officer Matthew Bourgoin responded …

Police Log: Man Arrested For Stabbing Another Man In The Face

The following arrest information was provided by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

  When police arrived at the rear of Imperial Packaging on East School Street Dec. 14, at 3:15 p.m., they met Gregory Robert Dunton, 37, who lives in a nearby campsite. According to police reports, Dunton had a small cut and a swollen finger on his left hand. Patrolman Steven Fairley Jr. reported Dunton said he had just been in a fight with James Manning, who camps with him, but had not injured him. An EMT who had walked to the campsite called for an officer, and Fairley follwed him to find Manning being tended to for a bad cut under his left eye. Manning had blood under his eye and on his jacket.  Fairley reported that Manning said he had been arguing with Dunton when the man pulled out a sharp object and lunged at him with it, cutting …

Police Log: Driver Arrested For DUI After Witness Reports He Struck Two Poles

  Woonsocket Police arrested Zachary Maiorana, 20, of 42 Richmond St., Blackstone, MA Dec. 9 at about 11:27 p.m. in the area of 633 Winter St., charging him with DUI after a caller reported watching him drive into two poles. According to a police report, Lee Ann Defaut, 43, of Blackstone, MA was driving on Winter Street at about 10:13 p.m. when she observed a green truck with no plates strike a telephone pole on Winter Street and one on Privelege Street. She said the truck had approached her car in her lane head-on with no headlights on, and after she swerved to avoid it, she turned around and followed.  According to officer Andrew Broccoli's report, another officer had located the truck and pulled it over by the time he arrived. Police Log: Hit And Run Driver Found Swerving On Cass Avenue, Arrested For DUI

The following arrest information was provided by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

  Good Samaritan Ken Bertram called Woonsocket Police to report he was following a gray 2001 Volvo Dec. 8 at 7:43 p.m., reporting it was driving across the center line on Cumberland Street. Shortly after, Bertram reported the car, which police later determined was driven by Duane Gero, 33, of 10 Huntington Ave., Plainville, MA, had struck a gray Mercedes Benz and continued driving without stopping to check on the occupants. Officers were dispatched to speak with Bertram, the occupants of the struck car, and witnesses. Officer Andrew R. Girard located the Volvo near 115 Cass Ave., traveling at a low speed, and activated his cruiser's siren and lights, but Gero didn't pull over.  Gero continued driving, swerving over the center line in an …

Police Log: Tenant Assaults Landlord After He Inquires About Overdue Rent

The following arrest information was provided by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

  Woonsocket Police arrested Thomasina Fannings, 33, of 180 Avenue C, apt. 1, Nov. 30 for responding to her landlord's request for back rent by spitting on him and striking him in the face with her shoe.  On Nov. 30 at about 5:30 p.m., Michael Mongeon, the landlord at 180 Avenue C, knocked on Fannings' door and asked for the back rent, about $1,500, with a rent payment of $700 due the next day. Thomasina began yelling at him, Mongeon said, replying that she would not give him the money, which, she said, wasn't due till the next day. Mongeon said he tried to explain he was asking for past due rent, and that he would like at least part of the overdue amount, but Thomasina continued her verbal abuse, at one point telling him she would beat …

Police Log: Station Wagon Driver Arrested For Ignoring Stop Sign, DUI

The following arrest information was provided by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

  Woonsocket Police Officer Michael Koneczny saw a maroon 2004 Mercedes station wagon speeding through the intersection of North Main Street and Prospect Street Dec. 2 at about 7:21 p.m. and followed it as the driver traveled in the middle of the road and ignored a stop sign.  The station wagon continued driving in excess of 55 mph in the 25 mph zone, directly in the middle of the road, according to Koneczny's report. The speeding wagon continued traveling on Main Street, speeding through the stop sign without slowing, passing Stadium Theatre on a routinely pedestrian-heavy stretch of street, so Koneczny turned on his lights to pull the station wagon over.  The driver of the station wagon ignored the cruiser's lights, so Koneczny turned on…

Police Log: Man Arrested For Firing BB Gun From Second Floor Apartment

The following arrest information was provided by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

  Ibrahim Rompy Medina, 25, of 100 Robinson St., apt. 6, would've been smart to abstain from target practice within city limits, since it's illegal and he wasn't invisible to his neighbors. Police responded to his apartment building at about 7:43 p.m. Dec. 2 for a report of someone firing a BB gun off a second floor balcony. They spoke with a woman who said that as she was taking out the trash with her son, she heard multiple BB gun shots from above, looked up and saw Medina firing into the trees nearby. The woman said the yelled up at him, "What the hell are you doing?" and went inside with her son.  Police spoke with two other people in the building who confirmed the story, and then knocked on Medina's door. Police Log: Man Sneaks Into Apartment, Violating No Contact Order

The following arrest information was provided by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

On Nov. 13 at about 7 p.m., two Woonsocket Police officers were dispatched to an apartment at 206 Dulude Avenue to check on an apartment for a woman who wanted them to ensure that Ruben Padilla, 25, her ex-boyfriend and father of her two children, was not in the home. A no-contact order had been issued against Padilla forbidding him to be near the woman or in the apartment.  Police entered the home with the woman's keys and found Padilla inside, hiding in the spare bedroom closet. He charged the officer, trying to push past him and calling to the woman, "Babe, please don't do this to me," according to the report. The two officers continued to struggle with Padilla as he called to the woman, saying he couldn't believe she was doing this to…

Troopers Catch Man Wanted For Vandalism, Violating No Contact Order

Traffic stop leads to arrest of man wanted by Woonsocket Police.

  State Troopers arrested Troy Archambault, 34, of 52 Avenue B, 2nd Floor, wanted by Woonsocket Police for violating a protection order and vandalism after pulling him over for a moving violation on Social Street Nov. 10, At 12:48 p.m. On Oct. 29, a woman on Vose Street told police she had seen a gold SUV parked outside the front of her home at about 6 a.m. while she was letting her dogs out. She walked toward the vehicle to check on what it was doing parked near her house, and saw Archambault driving as it pulled away. At 6:30 a.m., she said, she noticed the SUV parked directly near her car, which now had scratch marks on the drivers side quarter panel and trunk and a flat right rear tire.
