Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Lucien Trinque, the late Georgia (Roody) Benoit and step-son of the late Roger Rainville. He was a lifelong resident of the city. His funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 am in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, North Smithfield. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Hercules and Catherine (Taylor) Goulet. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30 am from the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Highway, Oakland (Burrillville), RI, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Good Help Church, Mapleville. Raymond G. Surprenant, 80, of Woonsocket, died Thursday, April 4, at Landmark Medical Center, according to Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home. Ray was the loving husband of Patricia A. (Richard) Surprenant. They were married on June 14, 1952. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Arthur and Ella (Lavimoidiere) Surprenant. He was a lifelong resident of the city. A heavy equipment mechanic by trade, Ray was employed at Aiello Construction Co. in Smithfield for many years and had also worked for several other firms in the area. Ray was a dedicated Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast. He was also a skilled woodworker having crafted a number of pieces of furniture, toys, and decorative items. Gloria L. Boucher, 65, of Fourth Ave., Woonsocket, died Tuesday evening at Landmark Medical Center, according to Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Alfred A. and Marie Antoinette (Desilets) Simard. She was a lifelong resident of the city. Hortense L. “Lee” Lemoine, 83, of Front St., formerly of Willow St., Woonsocket, died Sunday morning at Oakland Grove Health Care Center, according to Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Edwina (Richards) Benoit. She was a resident of Woonsocket for most of her life, and the wife of the late Normand Lemoine. Hortense worked for the American Tourister and Healthtex Corporations for many years before retiring in 1982. She was a long-time communicant of St. Anthony's Church and a member of Les Dames de St. Anne. She volunteered her time with the Cub Scouts and CYO. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Simon and Zepherine (Lambert) Gregoire. She was raised in Woonsocket and resided in Lincoln for over 50 years. Mrs. Brousseau was employed at Narragansett Knitting in her early years and was a dedicated homemaker.
