Team Hasbro Prepares More Than 25,000 Gifts For Kids In Need At Woonsocket Site
Volunteers marshal toys, games at city warehouse.
To ensure a bright holiday for Rhode Island children in need, about 25 employee volunteers from Hasbro sorted and prepared more than 25,000 toys and games at RICCA’s warehouse in Woonsocket, 1265 Mendon Road. The gifts will be distributed to Rhode Island Community Action Association(RICAA) agencies across the state. The children who will benefit from the initiative are involved with or receive assistance from the Rhode Island Department of Human Services or the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth & Families. “Team Hasbro” volunteers prepared the toys and games for distribution based on lists provided by each agency location statewide.
