Event Of The Day

EVENT OF THE DAY: Hold on to Your House

Today's mortgage default clinic may be able to help.

Are you at risk of losing your house? It may not be too late to act. If you have recently had a reduction in pay, layoff, illness, death of an income provider, or needed to care for family members and are at risk of foreclosure, help is available. At the Mortagage Default Clinic, HUD-approved counselors will review the loan modification process and documentation necessary to get started, as well as help you determine which stage of the foreclosure process you are in.  The counselor will also work with you to determine your next steps.  The clinic begins today at 10 a.m. at NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley, 719 Front St. For more information, call 401-762-0074 ext.210.
