Brothers Arrested After Assaulting Man Visiting Elder's Ex-Girlfriend

The following information was provided by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

  When Woonsocket Police officer Jason Berthelette caught up with James Lambert, 23, of 44 Oak St., apt. 3RDF outside the Our Pad bar on River Street April 13, the assault suspect admitted the crime. "I hope I put him in the hospital," James said, according to Berthelette's report. As it happened, the victim, Joshua DaSilva, 20, was on his way to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries to his head and neck after being beaten and by James and his brother, Christopher Lambert, 21, at the second floor apartment of James's ex-girlfriend, Stephanie Sepulveda 19, also at 44 Oak St., according to Sepulveda and DaSilva. Pitbull Intervenes As Man Attacks Dog's Master With Golf Club

Golf-Clubber arrested after trip to Landmark; Dog released to owner.

  A Boston man is facing felony assault charges and nursing a few dog bites after using a golf club to settle a disagreement with two men on Grove Street last night.    Woonsocket Police were called to 212/216 Grove St. for a report of an assault at about 7:13 p.m. March 4, discovering that an argument at a party at 216 Grove St. had occurred.  One of the guests was Matthew Jones, 38, of 7 Intervale St., Boston, MA, the boyfriend of the woman living at 216 Grove St.   Two people left the apartment and went next door to 212 Grove St., where they told Josef Tallo and Fatima DaSilva about the argument. Police Log: Man Arrested After Attacking Girlfriend's Father With Knife

The following arrest information was supplied by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Woonsocket Police arrested Michael Smith, 21, of  816 Bernon St., apt. 2, Oct. 17 at 2 p.m. after he tried attacking his girlfriend's father with a knife during an argument. At about 1:29 p.m., Woonsocket police officers responded for a domestic disturbance to 816 Bernon St., apt. 2, where Smith and his girfriend, Rondelle Hadrick, 21 and her father Joseph Hadrick, 60, share an apartment. When police arrived, a witness pointed them down the street, where Smith and Rondelle were walking. Police caught up to the couple and asked what had happened. Rondelle said the couple had been staying in her father's apartment for several months. She said she and Smith began to argue, and her father attempted to break it up, causing Smith to argue with …

These two poor kids having to live under these conditions because neither can get a job. Police Log: Man Arrested, Charged With Assaulting Girlfriend To Stop Breakup

The following arrest information was supplied by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

  Woonsocket Police were visited by a woman and her father Sept. 17 at approximately 5:09 p.m. to report the woman's ex-boyfriend, Ian Bresnahan, 19 of 51 Wood Ave., apt. 1R, had assaulted her in an attempt to make her take him back following their breakup.  Bresnahan and the woman broke up, she said, because of his history of violence against her, theft and unfaithfulness.   On Sept. 18, she said, she went to Bresnahan's apartment to pick up her things. During her visit, she said he begged her to take him back. She told him they would talk after she took a shower. During her shower, she said, Bresnahan became irate and threw her phone into the bathtub, breaking it.  The woman said she was dragged from the bathroom and thrown onto a bed, …

Police Log: Man Arrested After Attacking Neighbor, Breaking Her Nose

Man pulls attacker away from woman in headlock.

  Woonsocket Police responded to 85 West Park Place Sept. 6 at 5:17 p.m. for a report of an assault in progress. When they arrived, they found Holly Taylor, a resident at the apartment building, with a swolen nose, red marks on her face and covered in blood. She stated that Joseph Henry Saveall, 43 a neighbor at the building, had punched her several times in the face. She was transported to Landmark Medical Center for treatment. Officers spoke with Taylor's cousin, Kelly Gonzalez, her roommate, who told them she said had observed Saveall kicking trash barrels over. When she asked him what he was doing, he replied that he was kicking the trash down the embankment behind the building. She said Saveall then became confrontational with her …

Police Log: Man Arrested For Stabbing Friend In The Face With Screwdriver

  Woonsocket Police responded to the second floor of 198 Park Ave. Aug. 25 at 2:18 a.m. for a report of a disturbance, and were met in the driveway by a woman, Crystal Benoit, 24, of 209 Harrison Ave., Apt. 3, who was crying. Benoit told police she had been bitten by a dog during an argument between two friends. She had been bitten on the upper thigh and buttocks, according to the report.  Police next spoke with Daniel Ezekiel, who said that he, Benoit and Michael Christopher Hurst, 33, of 607 Mendon Road had been at the American Legion Post on Arnold Street together when they began arguing and were asked to leave.  The three got a ride from a friend to Ezekiel's home at 198 Park Ave. While still in the car, Hurst and Benoit began arguing…
