Health Department Orders Woonsocket Doctor To Stop Preparing Chemo Drugs

David Stoll, MD, 61, practicing oncology and hematology, has been fined $1,500 by the RI Department of Health and ordered to stop preparing chemo-therapeutic drugs at his office. Stoll, whose business address is 55 Hamlet Ave., has privileges at Landmark Medical Center, and is still licensed to practice medicine, according to Health Department Spokeswoman Dara Chadwick. According to the Health Department, Stoll received four shipments of chemotherapeutic drugs between 2006 and 2009, and, due to the absence of inventories, invoices or dispensation records, they are considered unaccounted for. My husband was treated by Dr Stoll and he saved my husband's life. Without his treatment my husband would have been dead over a year ago. He is a wonderful Doctor who knows what he is doing.
