Moreau To Run For City Council

Zoning Board Chairman Robert Moreau announces bid for Woonsocket City Council.

Lifelong city resident Robert Moreau has been a police officer, a boxing coach, director of security and a member of the Zoning Board of Review. Now, he wants to add city council member to his long list of Woonsocket focused activities.  A Democrat, Moreau is the current chairman of the Zoning Board and has served in its ranks for the past ten years. Through a position on the council, he hopes to promote job growth and economic development in the city.   "As chairman I have demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting the development of new businesses wishing to invest in our community," Moreau said in a press release this morning.
