Science and Engineering honored for her studies.
Kayla Gamache, a resident of Woonsocket, was named to the Fall 2012 Deans' List at Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass. To be eligible, a student must achieve a 3.25 grade point average or higher, based on a 4.0 grading system. Kayla is a Senior in the School of Science and Engineering. Founded in 1947 by the Order of St. Augustine, Merrimack College is a private, selective college located just minutes from Boston in North Andover, Massachusetts. The College offers over 40 undergraduate majors in liberal arts, science and engineering and part-time degree completion and certificate programs.

Charise Wilson of Woonsocket, was named to the Becker College Dean's List for fall 2012. Wilson is pursuing a degree in Business Administration. The Princeton Review ranks Becker College as one of the best 377 colleges in the U.S. and Becker's undergraduate video game design program as one of the top two in Massachusetts and top 10 nationwide. In 2011, Becker was designated by the Patrick-Murray administration as host of the Massachusetts Digital Games Institute (MassDiGI).

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has announced that Narimane Khaled of Woonsocket, a freshman majoring in aerospace engineering, was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the spring 2012 semester. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects. Kayla Gamache, a resident of Woonsocket, was named to the Spring Semester 2012 Dean's List at Merrimack College. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve a 3.25 grade point average or higher, based on a 4.0 grading system. Kayla is a Junior majoring in Athletic Training. The only Catholic Augustinian college in New England, Merrimack College is a selective, independent, co-educational institution with 2,000 full-time students from 22 states and 20 countries.

City scholar earns honor for spring semester.
Elizabeth Alger, a resident of Woonsocket and a member of the class of 2013, has been named to the Dean's List at Providence College's School of Continuing Education, for the Spring 2012 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve at least a 3.25 grade point average with a minimum of 9 credits, and must be enrolled in a degree program. Since 1997, Providence College has consistently been ranked as one of the top five regional universities in the north in U.S. News' America's Best Colleges.

Tara Tremblay graduates UNH, Britni Hagopian makes Assumption dean's list.
Tara Tremblay earns Dental Hygiene degree at UNH Tara Tremblay of Woonsocket, graduated from the University of New Haven on May 13 with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. The University of New Haven is a private, top-tier comprehensive institution recognized as a national leader in experiential education. Founded in 1920 on the campus of Yale University in cooperation with Northeastern University, UNH moved to its current West Haven campus in 1960.
