State Police: Utting Failed To Report Death of Robert Rossi of Johnston
Woonsocket woman spent several hours in friend's apartment after he died.
Dawn Utting, 45, of 75 Union St., apt. 1R, Woonsocket was arraigned today in Kent County District Court before Judge Mark A. Pfeiffer for failing to report the death of Robert Rossi, 70 of 204 Greenville Ave., apt 42. According to the release from State Police, Utting, who also faces charges of reckless driving and driving with a suspended license, was staying in Rossi's apartment April 18 when she discovered his unresponsive body on the bathroom floor at 4 a.m. Utting spent several hours in the apartment after the discovery before taking his car, a green 2000 Honda Accord, and heading back to her home in Woonsocket.
