[VIDEO] Cumberland Dominates D-II Super Bowl vs. Woonsocket
Excluding a drive in the game’s final five minutes, Woonsocket doesn’t even get into the red zone in a 49-0 lose to Cumberland in the Division II Super Bowl.
EAST GREENWICH – Cumberland took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, a 21-0 lead at half time, and finished the game with four second half interceptions in a 49-0 Division II Super Bowl win against Woonsocket. Woonsocket struggled on both ends of the ball, in both halves. Brett Bouchard threw four interceptions in the second half, as Woonsocket was forced to go to the air to try to come back from the 21-0 hole. In contrast, Cumberland scored a touchdown on all but one of its possessions. Even on that possession, Cumberland went for and missed a 24-yard field goal, after a goal line stand by Woonsocket.
