Police Arrest Man On Warrant For Receiving Goods from Blackstone Burglary

Thomas Pleau arrested attempting to flee through locked apartment door.

  Woonsocket Police Detective Thomas Gormley, armed with a warrant for Thomas Pleau's (38, of 2187 Diamond Hill Road) arrest in connection with a Blackstone, MA burglary, found him at 2381 Walnut Hill Road March 15 at 3:30 p.m. The detective had found the address through the registration for a car belonging to Melanie Champagne, 33, spotted during the theft. When he was done speaking with the building manager, Gormley spotted Pleau about 100 feet away, lighting a cigarette, according to Gormley's report. Gormley called to Pleau, ordering him to stop and informing him he had a warrant for his arrest. Pleau responded by running toward the door of one of the apartments, where Champagne joined him, both fumbling for the keys to the door. The …

Police Log: Detectives Arrest Woman For Burglary Of Roommate's Parent's House

The following information was provided by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

  Woonsocket Detectives heard two women's voices coming from the home at 322 Paradis Ave., Apt. 1 when they showed up looking for Victoria Fusco, 22, a suspect in a Jan. 29 Glen Road burglary. But when Fusco's roommate, Emily Levasseur, 22, answered the door, she said the woman wasn't at home. Police searched the home, locating Fusco in the second floor bedroom, according to Detective Sgt. Kevin Greenough's report.  Levasseaur was arrested and charged with obstructing police. Fusco was arrested for the burglary of 147 Glen Road, the home of Levasseur's parents, Paul and Annette. Police Log: Burglar Arrested Returning To Scene Of The Crime

  Woonsocket Police report a city man committed a classic criminal blunder early Wednesday morning, returning to the scene of his burglary the previous day for a second raid.    According to police reports, Percy Eugene Standifer, 25, 136 East St., apt. 2R, was caught breaking into the Mason Street Quick Mart at 12:15 a.m. the second time in two nights, stealing a total of about $865. On Tuesday at about the same time, Officer Christopher M. Bouvier reports he responded to the same location for a burglary, but didn't locate the suspect. The suspect had kicked in the rear door to break into the business, taking $630. The next night, a second alarm summoned Bouvier to Quick Mart, where the back door had been kicked in again. Police Log: Officer Intercepts Burglar On The Run

The following arrest information was supplied by the Woonsocket Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

  Oswald Torres, 20, of 4 Memorial Dr., on the run from police attempting to arrest him for a burglary on Dulude Avenue Sept. 22, didn't elude officers for long. At about 4:36 a.m., Patrolman Jesse Nunnemacher responded to 230 Dulude Ave., where a witness had detained a man he said had tried to break into his home. While en route, dispatch informed Nunnemacher that the suspect had escaped from the witness and was running away from Dulude Avenue down Robinson Street. Nunnemacher responded from the Elbow Street section of Robinson Street with his cruiser's lights "darked out" to avoid alerting the fleeing burglar. He saw Torres run through the intersection of Robinson Street and Burnside Avenue, exited his cruiser with weapon drawn, …
