  Alesia Desjardins, 26, a lifelong resident of Woonsocket, loved selling beauty products to people so much she decided to open a store on Park Avenue and be her own boss. The Bernon Heights resident has been an Avon sales rep for about a year and a half now. "I just absolutely love it," she said. She began with Avon as a part-time job, but she discovered she really enjoyed the work. She realized she was not just good at selling for Avon, but also had a knack for selling at her full-time job as a stock supervisor at the outlets in Wrentham, MA.
