Claim in Anthony Lescarbeau's Death Alleges Officers Acted On Misinformation
Officials unable to comment as investigation continues, lawyer doesn't elaborate.
The claim filed by attorney Ronald J. Resmini on behalf of the three minor children of Anthony Lescarbeau alleges Woonsocket Police acted on misinformation while pursuing the 33-year-old after he fled a traffic stop June 14, ending in a fatal crash. The claim, which Resmini has stated says the Woonsocket Police didn't follow the department's pursuit policy, asserts that the officers involved in the chase were provided with misinformation, "...resulting in actions above and beyond the standard..."
