For a daily $5 research fee, non-members can search burial records and other historical documents pertaining to French-Canadian heritage. Personal laptops may be brought into the library, but food, drink and pens are prohibited.

The synagogue on Prospect Street that is home to Congregation B'nai Israel was designed by the architect Samuel GlazerMore and has 12 triangular stained glass windows that depict the phases of Jewish history.  Cantor Jeffrey Cornblatt leads the congregation in Sabbath services every Saturday, and the synagogue offer Sunday School, Hebrew School and early education programs. It also has Family Friendly Friday Shabbat Dinners and serves as an outreach site for the Jewish Eldercare of R.I. This congregation is Conservative but welcomes interfaith families and Jews of all denominations.
